- ½ cup egg whites, beaten

- 15 stalks green onions, chopped

- Clean fish thoroughly. Remove scales and gills, then wash and drain.
- Slice the fish into six pieces.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Coat each fish piece with flour and sauté until golden brown. Set aside on paper towels.
- In the same pan, sauté onion and tomatoes. Add water and bring to a simmer.
- Add beaten egg whites and fish. Cover and let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Season with black pepper and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
