Ingredients: –
For stuffing:
- 1 cup Soya Kheema
- ½ cup Boiled and Mashed Fresh Green peas (Leached)
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp cumin powder
- 1/4th tsp turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 green chilli finely chopped
- 0.5gm salt/as directed by the dietician
- 1 tsp oil
For dough:
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- Water to knead the dough
- Oil for greasing the parathas
Preparation: –
- In a bowl, add wheat flour, water and knead the dough for parathas and set aside for 30 minutes.
- In a vessel, add soya kheema to boiling water and let it soak for 5-10 minutes. Squeeze out the water and set it aside.
- In a kadhai, add 1 tsp oil, add ginger garlic paste, finely chopped green chilli, onion and fry for few minutes.
- Now, add the soya kheema, boiled and mashed green peas and mix well. Add in all the spices and salt. Mix again and let it cool.
- Take a portion of the dough, roll it and stuff it with little of the soya peas mixture, seal from all sides and roll it flat keeping it to 1 inch thickness.
- Heat a tawa and roast the paratha by applying oil on both sides. Serve hot with thick curd.
