What is Dialysis
on Call?

A dialysis service that is facilitated at the patient’s home, clinic, a small hospital, or nursing home is called Dialysis on Call. A Dialysis Machine, all vital dialysis consumables, well-qualified staff, and a fully functional Water Treatment plant are sent for the patient’s treatment. DOC is a first-of-its-kind service launched in India, by NephroPlus, and does not require the patient to visit the dialysis centre.

DOC was launched to make dialysis more accessible to patients who would not like to or are unable to visit a hospital or a dialysis centre to undergo dialysis.

DOC is not the same as Home Hemodialysis. In, Home Hemodialysis, a Dialysis Machine, and a Water Treatment plant are set up in the patient’s home. In DOC, the machine and whatever else is required for the treatment is sent to the patient’s home or any other location they need their dialysis in and then removed once the treatment ends.

How Does it Work?

All you need to do is dial our customer care, place your request with us and schedule an appointment in advance. Within just two hours of your call, our team will immediately begin the process of providing you with our Dialysis on Call services and facilities. You can also access this facility through our App.
For an improved quality of life, make sure you consult with a Nephrologist and receive a clear prescription for DOC services.

Benefits of Dialysis on Call

DOC has a number of benefits, the first and foremost is the convenience and comfort of being at home or in familiar surroundings. Unlike home hemodialysis, the DOC setup is temporary and will be removed once the treatment is over. Patients need not follow the dialysis centre’s timing and schedule but can fix appointments according to their convenience. Moreover, DOC provides patients with easy accessibility, affordable costs, and reduced dependency on family and friends.
