Ingredients:
- 4 slices of white bread
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- ½ cup red, green and yellow capsicum (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup boiled sweet corn
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
- ½ cup grated cheese (mozzarella and cheddar blend)
- ¼ tsp pepper (crushed)
- Unsalted Butter for greasing
- Chilli flakes and dried herbs for garnish(optional)
Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix onion, capsicum, corn and pepper
- Take slices of bread and spread the capsicum mixture on one side. Add the grated cheese on top and set aside.
- Grease a tava with butter and keep the flame low. Keep the slices of bread with capsicum and cheese on the tawa. Cover and toast till cheese melts.
- Garnish with dried herbs and chilli flakes.
- Serve hot with tea
